Yep if you’re addict they won’t even look at you and then wonder why people lie about it to doctors. I was homeless and drs treated me so disgustingly.

I swear this will our downfall. Yes its nice to cure illness. But fist what if we make a mistake. And second there will be black sheep’s that will not hold on standards. I have no trust in humans or humanity to be comfortable with this. Im for that we should not interfere with the human evolution.

I have all of these, had no idea they were “rare”.

I have ADD, and while I'm not entirely aware of it, I guess i do walk in a way where i try to avoid anything and everything i might bump into? It might be a bit of touch aversion, as well, i just hat being touched without my permission, and as long as i can here someone, i can avoid them. Ive also bumped the same spot on my leg repeatedly, practically weekly. I also have something of a photographic memory, so i like have a mental map of my surroundings based off of what ive seen. As long as i noticed it, i know exactly where it is at all times, unless it was moved while i wasn't looking, or I wasn't paying attention when i moved something. Im not sure if it's actually a photographic memory or not, it hasn't been diagnosed.

I HAD TO LIE. Went to new doctor during an obvious flare. Said "I have borderline Lupus but haven't done blood work in a few years." Doctor said "Ok, let's check your levels." Bam, ANAs were high. Along with a couple other autoimmune markers. Not advocating lying to your doctors. It's important to build trust. Especially with lifelong chronic conditions. However, you've got to fight for yourself. Especially females. I bring my husband with me every time. Unfortunately and fortunately they take my illness more seriously when he talks to them.

The problem is, we don't understand genes well enough. From my a level biology knowledge, a single gene can have several purposes and produce several DIFFERENT proteins with different functions. Sure removing the gene that codes for the protein that HIV enters the cell by makes them HIV resistant, but who knows, maybe there was some other important purposes that the gene fulfilled that we didn't know about? Maybe by making them HIV resistant, he made them more vunerable to another issue/disease. Who knows?

When I had my kids (USA 1982 & 1983), it was really frowned upon. I breastfed both my kiddos. I used to get dirty looks and horrible comments regularly. Not from older folk, but people under the age of 30. I didn't stop. They were exclusively breastfed. My daughter breastfed all 3 of hers. A better environment and understanding in the '00s and '10s. But now my granddaughter is pregnant and absolutely doesn't want to because all her 19-ish year old friends are telling her how 'sick' it is and it's something a 'p*do' would do. Yes. Our kids have warped senses of realitt.

Honest question... How long afterwards is this an issue? I was a wild child as a teen. So was my husband. But we've been monogamous for 27 years. Is this still such a risk? It is a real question.

Yeah, I do that. My balance is just fine, but I do get stuck in door handles and stuff.

I have autism and I got 4/6 but normally I have a better time telling how someone feels based of their eyes and body movements and at times voice.

Endo lesions can go to the lungs, eyes and brain. Yeah. I have it on my lungs. They don't remove it from lungs.

There are still times when I can see those things and I am in mid twenties
